07/24/08:
We are finishing up the new JaGoFF CD entitled, "IT TAKES
A MAJOR LABEL TO HOLD US BACK", and are knee deep in final
editing and video shoots. We are looking forward to getting that
sucka out there. Expect an October release. IT FUNKS
AND IT FUNKS HARD. DIY OR DIE.

For
over the last year, the City of Chicago has attempted to pass
an
ill-conceived "Promoter's
Ordinance" that would
essentially kill
Chicago's independent creative
community (music, art, theatre). We oppose any form of this ordinance
as it does nothing benifical but hurt those that are already struggling
to simply create. Our friend and professor of law, Henry
Perritt has found the ordinance UNCONSTITUTIONAL
on several fronts. We ask all creatives and fans of the creative
to take a stand let city hall that THIS CANNOT STAND. For those
of you "Doubting Thomas'" out there, San
Jose just passed a similar law .

VIDEO! VIDEO!
We have posted the videos to "SEVEN
SECOND DELAY" and "BUST
A NUT", both are from the JaGoFF "There's One
Born Every Minute" CD (available thru iTunes,
CDBaby
or STEAL OUR RECORD). Even though
we know that pride is one of the Seven Deadly Sins we are still
very proud of the outcome. Give them a look and a listen.

- Many thanks to all that came out to RESONATE
3.0 last night. Attendence wes incredible, somewhere around
2000 or so. It was INSANE. Trapeze artists, burlesque dancers,
fire dancers, interactive video, great artwork - it goes on and
on and on. Many thanks to everyone, not the least of which our
camera crew Phat Tony, JC and Special K - the footage is going
to be great. Expect to see the photo and video as soon as we get
a chance to go thru all of the media.

- JaGoFF is going to be playing RESONATE
3.0 on March 29th!!! The midwestern contigent of the Burning
Man community will be in full effect - so you know it is going
to be ridiculous. We can't expose the location, you know how that
goes. Buy your tickets and you will be sent the info. Just know
it an old fire station located somewhere in Chicago (how appropriate).
This is our first live show in almost a year and JaGoFF will be
playing much from the upcoming CD, which we have now entitled,
"It Takes a Major Label to Hold Us Back". Three guesses
as to what it is about. Come out and join us ... get your freak
on!
