MOBFest

Underground Hip Hop Showcase as
part of this year's music conference. Chicago's
music tradition has long been legend among
the worlds of blues, gospel, jazz, soul
& house and in the last year has
quickly emerged as the nation's
hot bed of the hip hop world. Following
the meteoric rise of Kanye West,
coupled with the massive successes of both
Common & Twista, the
music industry has shifted it's attention
to the Windy City in search of the next
big thing. As the sole Hip Hop showcase
for this year's conference, the Chicago
Underground Hip Hop Showcase features
acts that are at the peak of their craft.
They are the
best that Chicago has to offer…
they are what’s
next. The showcase takes
place at Chi-Town's premiere live music venue
