staff got turned on to this little morsel
of dark goodness a while back ... I have
to say that after repeated spins (many
of them in row) something new reveals
itself with each and every listen. Densely
packed yet minimalistic; Project e.l.f.
is extremely cinematic in scope, sounding
visually akin to a mining operation located
somewhere on the sunless portion on the
lunar surface. Project e.l.f is sub-zero
and airless with just the hum and buzz
of future tech mining for the core. This
outing is very alien and machine-like
and bathed in ethereal ambience. If you
are a head into downtempo and IDM - this
one is for you. Think Autechre. Think
Aphex Twin.
