A multifaceted approach that serves as a community for unsigned artists, the site features producer forums (past forums have included Rob Stevens, Jack Endino, Steve Kravac, Barrett Jones & others) . Loud Energy is "focused on continual and broad based artist development." Overall Loud Energy is a nice balance between labels, talent and commerce. A solid effort in a short span of time.

MusicBuilder
A band and mp3 hosting site. MusicBuilder offers "the artist" a solution for selling their mp3's, as well as, produce high resolution cds & offer them for sale at "the artist" storefront.

Metal Rules
As the name would suggest, Metal Rules is geared towards METAL. If you are a looking for a mp3 site for your metal jams... check it out.

Unsigned Band Web

UKSounds is an alternative to MP3, in that works exclusively with WMA files....which is actually a nice way to cover your bases. They are hooked up with Virgin.net as well as, MSN.... so there are some definite channels to get your work out. Worth a look and then some... open to indies as well as the name-brands.

Online Rock
Online Rock offers indie bands a free web page, 25 MB of storage, as well as, a place to manufacture and sell CDs.

Nowhere Radio
A great venue for indies.

BroadJam
Allows you to upload 5 tracks for hosting on a personalized band page. You can then e-mail your tracks out to whomever. You must review 3 tracks for every uploaded track to activate your music. Not much to ask and it keeps the community active, which is a good thing.

FarmFreshMusic
Not much to look at , but yet another avenue to get your tracks out.

Cornerband offers a multi-tiered service that allows indie bands to post and promote their music via MP3 and WMA. The site offers downloads, streams and has recently partnered with Kazaa by offering indie content via DRM. The basic service is free the rest you have to pay for. Worth a look.
